¿Qué destacamos?: Se trata de un wrapper completo para un framework especialmente importante. El código está muy bien documentado y claro. Incluye ejemplos de uso ilustrativos.

3er premio: Alberto Luis Gimeno Brieba
Con su propuesta: Work Shaver
¿Qué destacamos?: Simplifica la selección del tipo de licencia. Tiene una muy buena presentación y permite el enlace a redes sociales. Buena usabilidad e integración con el sistema operativo. Crea un API en Objective-C.

It has been incredibly difficult to pick the best ones, but after many hours of deliberation we can announce the winners of the contest for applications and plug-ins for Safe Creative’s API. And are:

What to point out?: A great application for Facebook, therefore with great projection which allows registration of any file besides images in the social network. The product is well documented and has a clear code with comments.

What to point out?: This is a complete wrapper for a especially important framework. The code is well documented and clear. Includes illustrative usage examples.

Hemos actualizado el wrapper PHP para incluir un archivo LEEME explicando su utilización y para sacar el texto de la licencia GPL del código fuente y dejarlo en un archivo aparte.

Hemos subido un sencillo wrapper, escrito en PHP, que facilita el uso de nuestra API.

Se encarga de gestionar la firma de las peticiones y otros detalles que pueden resultar “difíciles” al trabajar con la API.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SAFE CREATIVE API’S CONTEST (.pdf)
1. ORGANIZING COMPANY
The organization of the contest for the development of programs, software or plugins for Safe Creative’s API is promoted by Safe Creative S.L., with ID Number B99161739 and legal address in Saragossa, at Calle Bari 39, Edificio “Binary Building”.
2. OBJECT OF THE CONTEST
Safe Creative is an open platform for copyright registration and information. Safe Creative presents a new access means to the system: an API (Application Programming Interface) or interface that shall be used by other programs and systems in order to render certain operations relating to the automatic registration and consultancy of Safe Creative’s data base.
We want to celebrate the launch of this innovative system to register and consult the works deposited at Safe Creative, with a contest among the best programs rendering operations of registration or consultation with Safe Creative’s registry through its API, i.e., registration through third parties’ software, content management systems, remote look up to the works’ rights or authors, etc.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
The participation in this contest means the fully and unconditional acceptance of the present binding terms. The fulfillment of the requirements established herein is compulsory to accept the candidates as valid participants.
4. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Any person included and over 18 years old, who accepts the present terms, may be accepted as a participant, excluding the employees of the organizing company.
The participant must be the author or right holder of all the intellectual property rights over the software subject of this competition or, in case it is partially based on third parties’ code, she shall have the duly authorization of the right holder in order to participate in this competition (for example, through the so-called “Open Source Licenses”).
5. DURATION
The competition will start on October 1st, 2009 at 00:00 GMT and will end on December 31st, 2009 at 23:59 GMT.
6. DELIVERY OF THE WORKS
Users interested on participate in this competition must fill out correctly the form available at Safe Creative’s blog (http://en.safecreative.net and http://labs.safecreative.net) and send it to the email address apicontest09@safecreative.org.
In the form, the participants must provide the URL where the candidate’s project will be published, or must send along with the form the source code and the compiled binary, with an installable or executable file.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The participant guarantees that the software sent to Safe Creative is original and, thus, does not infringe third parties’ rights (including but not limited to Intellectual Property Rights, Trademarks, Patents, etc.). Therefore, the participant shall indemnify and hold Safe Creative harmless from any claims, damages, expenses, loss or liability of any kind or nature, brought by any third party for the infringement of his legitimate rights.
All the works must bear a GPL-License (from the Free Software Foundation) on any of its versions or any other license that permits the free and open availability of the source code of the project, including the permission to make derivative works based on it.
The work must include the text of the license, whether it is published or sent directly to Safe Creative, along with the authors involved in the project.
A breach of these requirements will mean the non-participation or the expulsion of the candidate from the competition.
Safe Creative will make available, when tested, all the candidates works; the projects will be available respecting each license at Safe Creative’s download area, at the URL facilitated by the participant, or in any other place that Safe Creative might decide in the future.
8. PROHIBITIONS
It is strictly prohibited the deliverance of malicious software, viruses, Trojans, or any other piece of software that render concealed functions or non-related with the purposes stated in Point 1, or that, in any way, could harm computer systems, hardware or could violate the binding laws. The breach of this rule will mean the unconditional disqualification of the participant and the reservation of taking legal actions against him.
Safe Creative reserves its right to test, compile and analyze the functioning of the work before publishing it on its website, and before considering it valid for the competition, in order to verify that it comply with the rules stated herein.
9. PRIZES
The prizes are the ones listed below, which will not be exchangeable or refundable:
1.Computer Sony Vaio W11S1E/T
2.Console PS3 Slim 120 GB
3.Portable Console GP2X Wiz
The author will be the sole responsible for the tax obligations related with the prize.
10. JURY, CRITERIA AND JUDGMENT
The Jury will be formed by the Safe Creative’s Technical Team.
The criteria to evaluate the work will be the following:
1.To Simplify or make easier the registration procedure to authors and creators.
2.To provide the knowledge of the rights and the authorized-uses of the works.
3.Originality of the concept: new uses and possibilities on the online content distribution, which may be compatible with the uses of the “Copyright” and “Copyleft” systems.
The jury judgment will be published on January 15th, 2010, at the Safe Creative’s blog (http://es.safecreative.net and http://en.safecreative.net)
The decision of the jury cannot be appealed.
If under the jury’s opinion none of the participant work reaches the standard level of quality, the prize will not be given in whichever category it may be.
11. DISTRIBUTION OF THE PRIZES.
The company will contact the winners through the email address provided on the application form, in order to communicate the prize and arrange the shipment.
The shipment fees for the prizes will be carried by the organizing company.
12. PUBLICATION OF THE WINNERS’ IDENTITIES.
The winners hereby accept the disclosure and therefore the publication of their names and last names on the different media that Safe Creative may consider appropriate.
13. PERSONAL INFORMATION.
The personal data received by Safe Creative from the participants will be included in an automated file property of Safe Creative and treated under the existing legislation in data protection. Participants’ personal information will be used by Safe Creative to carry out the present promotion.
Participants expressly authorize Safe Creative to inform them, through the email, of new services, promotions and commercial actions that the company may organize. The rights of opposition, access, modification or cancelation of these data will be carried out through a written application to Safe Creative, to the email address info@safecreative.net.
14. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW.
This contest is regulated under the Spanish Law. Safe Creative and the participants expressly renounce to any other jurisdiction but the Spanish one, the Spanish Tribunals will be chosen for any dispute that may arise from the present promotion.

BASES GENERALES DE PARTICIPACIÓN (.pdf)
1. Empresa organizadora
La organización del concurso de desarrollo de programas y plugins para el API Safe Creative está promovida por Safe Creative S.L., con CIF B99161739 y domicilio en Zaragoza, calle Bari, 39, Edificio Binary Building.
2. Objeto del concurso
Safe Creative, la plataforma abierta de registro e información de propiedad intelectual, estrena una nueva vía de acceso al sistema: un API (Application Programming Interface) o interfaz a través de la que otros programas y sistemas puedan realizar operaciones de registro y consulta de forma automatizada.
Para celebrar la puesta en servicio de este novedoso sistema para registrar y consultar los usos permitidos de las obras, Safe Creative convoca un concurso de programas (software) y plug-in’s que realicen operaciones de registro o consulta en el registro de Safe Creative a través del API, como pueden ser, a modo de ejemplo, registro desde programas de diseño, composición, gestores de contenidos, consultas remotas de derechos de obras, de autores, etc.
3. Aceptación de las bases
La participación en este concurso supone la aceptación plena e incondicional de estas bases. El reconocimiento como participante válido queda sujeto al cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos a continuación.
4. Requisitos de participación
Podrá participar en la promoción cualquier persona mayor de 18 años que acepte las condiciones aquí establecidas, a excepción de los empleados de la empresa organizadora.
El participante deberá ser el autor o titular de todos los derechos de propiedad intelectual sobre el software que presente al concurso o, en el caso de estar parcialmente basado en códigos de terceros, deberá tener las autorizaciones preceptivas para la participación en el concurso (por ejemplo, a través de las llamadas “Licencias de Código Abierto”).
5. Comienzo y terminación del concurso
Se admitirán a concurso todos los trabajos recibidos entre las 00:00 GMT horas del día 1 de Octubre de 2009 y las 23:59 GMT del día 31 de Diciembre de 2009
6. Envío de los trabajos
Sólo se considerará válida la participación de aquellos usuarios que envíen correctamente cumplimentado el formulario de participación disponible en el blog de Safe Creative (http://es.safecreative.net y http://labs.safecreative.net) a la dirección de correo apicontest09@safecreative.org
Los trabajos deberán enviarse indicando en el formulario dónde se encuentra publicado el proyecto de software que participa en el concurso, o bien con remisión del código fuente, y el binario compilado, archivo ejecutable o instalable;
7. Propiedad Intelectual
El participante garantiza que las aplicaciones remitidas a Safe Creative serán originales y que, por tanto, no vulnerarán derechos de terceros (ya sean derechos de propiedad intelectual, de marcas, de patentes o de cualquier otro tipo). Por este motivo, el participante acuerda mantener indemne a Safe Creative ante cualquier reclamación que pudiera iniciar cualquier tercero por una infracción de sus legítimos derechos.
Sólo se admitirán a concurso aquellos trabajos liberados mediante la licencia GPL (de la Free Software Foundation) en cualquiera de sus versiones o cualesquiera otra licencia de Software que permita la libre puesta a disposición del código del proyecto, así como la realización de obras derivadas basadas en él.
Tanto si el trabajo se encuentra publicado como si se envía por correo electrónico, debe incluir del texto de la licencia, así como de las correspondientes menciones de autoría.
El incumplimiento de esta condición determinará la no participación o, en su caso, la expulsión del concurso.
Safe Creative pondrá a disposición de todos los usuarios, una vez testados, todos los trabajos remitidos en el área de descargas (o plugins) de su página web, o en cualquier otro lugar que considere conveniente, haciendo uso de la licencia elegida por cada participante.
8. Prohibiciones
Queda terminantemente prohibida la remisión de software malicioso, virus, troyanos o cualquier otra pieza de software que realice funciones ocultas o no relacionadas con los propósitos establecidos en el objeto del concurso, o que, de cualquier forma, pudiera ocasionar un daño en terminales informáticos o pudiera contravenir la legislación vigente. El incumplimiento de esta norma supondrá automáticamente la descalificación del participante y la adopción de las medidas legales oportunas.
Safe Creative se reserva el derecho de testar, compilar y analizar el funcionamiento del trabajo antes de ponerlo a disposición de sus usuarios y de admitirlo a concurso con el fin de verificar el cumplimiento de estas bases.
9. Premios
Los premios serán los que se relacionan a continuación, los cuales no serán canjeables ni reembolsables:
1. Ordenador Sony Vaio W11S1E/T
2. Videoconsola PS3 Slim 120 GB
3. Videoconsola portátil GP2X Wiz
Las obligaciones fiscales que se deriven del premio serán responsabilidad única del autor.
10. Jurado, criterios y fallo
El jurado estará compuesto por el equipo técnico de Safe Creative.
Los criterios de valoración del trabajo serán los siguientes:
1. Facilitar o simplificar el registro a autores y creadores.
2. Facilitar el conocimiento de derechos y usos permitidos de las obras.
3. Originalidad del concepto: nuevos usos y posibilidades en la distribución de contenidos en la red compatibilizados con los usos de “copyright” y “copyleft”
El fallo del jurado se dará a conocer el día 15 de Enero de 2010, en el blog de Safe Creative (http://es.safecreative.net y http://en.safecreative.net)
La decisión del jurado será inapelable.
Si ha juicio del jurado ninguna de las obras presentadas alcanza el nivel exigible, el premio podrá declararse desierto en cualquier de sus categorías.
11. Distribución de los premios
La empresa se pondrá en contacto con los ganadores de los premios mediante la dirección indicada en el formulario de inscripción a los efectos de comunicar el premio y organizar el envío de los mismos.
Los gastos de envío de los premios serán de cuenta de la empresa organizadora.
12. Publicación de la identidad de los Ganadores
Los ganadores aceptan que su nombre y apellidos sean publicados por los medios que Safe Creative estime oportunos.
13. Tratamiento de los datos personales
Los datos personales que Safe Creative reciba de los participantes serán incluidos en un fichero automatizado de su propiedad y tratados de acuerdo con la legislación vigente en materia de protección de datos de carácter personal. Los datos de los participantes serán utilizados por Safe Creative para llevar a cabo la presente promoción.
Los participantes autorizan expresamente a Safe Creative a informarles de nuevos servicios, promociones y acciones comerciales que esta empresa organice posteriormente, mediante el envío de correos electrónicos. Los derechos de oposición, acceso, rectificación o cancelación de estos datos se ejercerán mediante comunicación por escrito a Safe Creative, por correo electrónico a la dirección info@safecreative.net
14. Ley aplicable y jurisdicción
Las acciones promocionales se rigen por la ley española. Safe Creative, y los participantes en la promoción, con renuncia expresa a cualquier otro fuero, se someten al de los juzgados y tribunales del domicilio del organizador de la promoción para cualquier controversia que pudiera derivarse del concurso.

Safe Creative
We ‘ve just published a Mozilla Firefox extension that uses the search api, as an example of API usage, maybe used as an starting point for other uses.
This extensions adds a new contextual submenu to any image loaded in the browser (even from local files). When invoked, the md5 checksum of the image is calculated to call Safe Creative’s search api. If any result is found (with this implementation only exact matches are possible), a new window with work title, author(s) and license is shown. Otherwise, a “No rights info” notice appears.
